Basic and Clinical Pharmacology 12/E (LANGE Basic Science) Description

I really like this textbook. Even when your medical/nursing/dental school does not use that one, I’d get it. the diagrams are very obvious, and explanations are available. Certainly mix using the USMLE prep books for mnemonics though. There’s no replacement for practice but acronyms prove useful on test day. The fabric within the book is comprehensive enough for advanced work yet simple to digest. The glossed pages and also the font makes reading through just a little dificult at nights however. This textbook is extremely wording and precise people. Its format, figures, and wording allow it to be excellent for understanding fundamental pharmaocology, amount of distribution, absorption rates, half-lives, etc, but it’s rather overwhelming text-smart along with a boring format to understand for clinical aspects like unwanted effects and such things as that. I recommend Lippencott’s Pharmacology Review for that clinical aspect, though Katzung’s is way better in the technical facet of Pharmacology, for me.
