# Cryptography and Network Security: Principles and Practice (5th Edition)

**Cryptography and Network Security: Principles and Practice (5th Edition) Description**

It is the best crypto book I have read, much better than Schneier’s and Ferguson’s. Extensive math, yet no math degree needed – it’s described that well, plus he gives further (much deeper) blood pressure measurements within the additional webpages (Linear Algebra, Special Forces crypto., Simplified DES and AES buildings (so that you can begin to see the construction and just how they work), SAGE math issues that make use of the free Linux SAGE program). The book’s additional web (restricted the book’s purchaser’s account and password) downloads count the cost from the book. That contributes 16 more sections, that is I’d have to say is 100s more pages more past the book. That’s it to obtain if you’re seriously interested in crypto. See also authors Preneel and Rogaway. I don’t comprehend the negative reviews given here. They have to read another edition. That one may be the fifth edition, the great one.
