This memoir surprisingly candid, frequently funny and very moving is the story of Chuck Barris on living with her only child, Della. Born on Christmas Eve 1962, Della was a lovable charmer like his father, an adventurer and spiritual development of youth. She had a carefree childhood in the suburbs, even when his father swiftly became a superstar entertainment, to invent, hosting, and production of its legendary game show. When Barris and his wife eventually divorced Della was shuttled between relatives in New York and California, then moved from the boarding school in Switzerland at Beverly Hills High, amongst other people.
