Introduction to Spectroscopy Description

This book is most likely the very best opening reference on spectroscopy presently available, and I have examined virtually every book available on the market at this time. I am a chemist, which book got me through my senior synthesis and spectroscopy lab. Proton and carbon-13 NMR, IR, GC/MS, and Ultra violet/Vis are covered within the book. It offers many handy tables of characteristic changes for NMR, characteristic absorbances for IR and Ultra violet/Vis, along with a great table on common GC/MS fragments by m/e. The chapter on 2D NMR is lousy, but that is not necessarily opening material anyhow. The Ultra violet/Vis chapter is type of general, but Ultra violet/Vis is not everything helpful. This can be a book which i plan to hang onto for some time. Superb book. Adopts great detail about HNMR, 13C NMR, Infrared, ultraviolet. Virtually anything you can actually need to know concerning the theory Introduction to Spectroscopy
